How to set it up
- 01Train your wake word. Type your phrase on Outspoken and download the model when training finishes.
- 02Copy the model in. Put the file in the openWakeWord custom models folder (/share/openwakeword/ for the add-on).
- 03Restart the add-on. Restart openWakeWord so it picks up the new model.
- 04Pick it in your voice assistant. Open Settings, Voice assistants, and choose your model as the wake word.

Does it work offline?
Yes. The openWakeWord add-on runs on your own hardware, so detection does not need the internet.
How long does it take?
Training takes about 45 minutes. Then you need a few minutes to copy the file and select it.
What does it cost?
Credits start at €2.90 per model and never expire. Hobby use needs no subscription.
Can I use my own language?
Yes. You can train in several languages, including Dutch, German and French.
