Check what you need

Python 3.9 or newer (check with python3 --version)
A microphone that your computer can use
A terminal where you can run pip

Good to knowOn Linux you also need the PortAudio library. Install it with sudo apt install libportaudio2. On macOS and Windows it comes with the Python package.
